Our Claims Services department is seeking experienced claim handlers who have successfully managed, investigated, and resolved third party motor liability claims. You will handle claims resulting from Enterprise Holdings hire operations under our motor third party liability insurance program.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make an impact to a growing claim organization. This department will offer both technical and leadership opportunities for high performing employees as the operation grows.

Responsibilities

  • Complete thorough liability investigations to include obtaining interviews, recorded statements, scene investigation and police reports
  • Proactively capture and intervene to reduce overall spend
  • Evaluate and resolve Fast Track Personal Injury RTA Portal claims, following the MOJ process
  • Assist in training and/or orientation of new employees
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to requests from vendors, insurers, claimants, solicitors and internal contacts
  • Gather and evaluate medical data, police reports, repair estimates and other related investigative documents
  • Take personal responsibility to ensure compliance with the Legal & Regulatory framework within which motor claims handling sits. Including, but not limited to, carrying out all accountabilities and objectives within the framework of the insurance policy; ensuring FSA & DPA compliance; being aware of the implications of POCA, the Terrorism Act and the MOJ reforms
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers and managers to achieve high quality claims handling
  • Take personal responsibility for promoting a ‘can-do’ attitude and demonstrating a proactive claim handling service

Qualifications

  • Previous success with capture and intervention of motor liability claims
  • Proven experience in an insurance or legal based environment handling third party motor claims and personal injury claims
  • MOJ portal experience
  • Proven ability to make the right decisions on legal liability; damage assessment and assessing the need for investigation or rehabilitation
  • Fully versed in the pre-accident protocols; court processes and terminology and awareness of the incoming MOJ changes
  • An understanding of vehicle repair, medical terms and legal concepts
