Flex-E-Rent is currently recruiting for a professional driver to take on an exciting new role as an Event Vehicle Transporter Driver Valeter to be based in Gloucester.  This is a senior driver position with commensurate remuneration and responsibilities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, and as such can expect to drive professional standard car transporter trucks equipped with sleeper cabs. Training in how to operate these vehicles and trailers will be provided.

Responsibilities

The role will primarily involve the relocation of vehicles and buggies between depots to ensure that they are in the right location for onward hire, sales vehicle movements, bulk buggy movements to festivals, & TMS support for Enterprise Vehicle Movements.

This salaried role requires a flexible approach to working patterns and shifts. The succesful candidate will be open to regular overnight stays during peak seasons, able to work weekends when required and be prepared to work longer hours to meet business demands when required.

The succesful candidate will have exceptional communications skills and will be able to liaise with customers and hire controllers to ensure high levels of customer service.

Amongst the other key competencies for this role are time management, punctuality, ability to schedule and plan workload, the ability to efficiently plan routes/loading to maximise prodcutivity and interacting with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence Category Class C+E 
  • Full DQC/Driver CPC valid card 
  • Digital Tacho Card
