Our UK based team are looking for a smart, passionate and results-oriented software engineer to help us develop innovative software initiatives across our software suite. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is interested in exploring software technologies throughout the stack and excited to take the challenges to have a major impact on our products.

As an Engineer 3 you must have a keen understanding of the underlying technologies and be excited to figure out how things work end to end. You must be able to evangelize your thoughts to help drive innovative solutions to improve and streamline processes.   • Design software solutions in a friendly team with a wealth of knowledge about the industry
  • Be part of the full application lifecycle (design, develop, test, deploy and maintain), innovating in each step
  • Work with internal and external teams to design and build solution integrations
  • Develop all aspects of the application suite from the UI to the data store
  • Share your experiences with the team and at the same time develop yourself by learning from the team experiences
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of applications while delivering impactful business value
  • Collaborate with other teams to make architectural decisions and improvements
  • May require occasional on-call duties


Basic Requirements:

  • Proficiency programming in C#
  • Experience of software development utilizing an object-oriented programming language for business level applications
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, serverless functions, virtual machines, messaging services
  • Experience with databases as part of business solution
  • Experience with linux
  • Experience with API-based services
  • Experience architecting and developing large complex applications
  • Proficiency scripting in PHP
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies
  • A proven team player with demonstrable commitment to team goals
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a team utilizing Agile development practices
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% domestically

Preferred qualification:

  • Experience with popular frameworks and libraries
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and similar tools
  • Proficiency with various scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby
  • Experience with micro-services, CI/CD and DevOps environments
  • Experience with full-stack development
  • Demonstrable experience in implementation of good security practices
  • Proficiency with TypeScript-based or similar frameworks
  • Knowledge of Containerized and/or Virtualized deployments
  • Understanding of container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
  • Understanding of scaled Agile frameworks
  • Experience of working in international organizations

This position is based on working remotely with teams based in Egham, Dartford and Dewsbury (West Yorkshire) within close proximity to Leeds, or in Dewsbury office.
